Ghost Adventures Couple Dead in Murder-Suicide
by EG
Mark and Debby Constantino, who were frequent contributors to the Ghost Adventures paranormal investigation TV series, died on Tuesday in Sparks, Nevada. Authorities allege that Mark Constantino killed Debby and himself after a stand-off with police, and another man found dead in an apartment in Reno is thought to be a victim of the same incident.
Police say that Mark Constantino kidnapped Debby from the apartment in Reno and took her to an apartment in Sparks. Police investigating the death of the man in Reno tracked the Constantinos to the home in Sparks, and there they came under gunfire from inside the home. After several hours of negotiation with Mark Constantino, police entered the home and found both of the Constantinos dead.
The Constantinos had had a history of domestic violence incidents involving the police. In March, Debby was charged with domestic violence and battery after allegedly attacking Mark with a knife. In August, Mark was charged with kidnapping and battery after allegedly beating and attempting to strangle Debby.
The Constantinos were regularly featured on Ghost Adventures, where they specialized in making recordings that they claimed offered evidence of paranormal activity. The show is hosted by paranormal investigator Zak Bagans, who tweeted that Tuesday was a "very tragic dark day."
