'Celebrity Apprentice' No More: Gary Busey Cast in 'Piranha 3DD'

Gary Busey may have been fired from "Celebrity Apprentice," but just because he's no longer in that shark tank doesn't mean he won't still be fighting off ruthless attackers.

Busey has just been cast in "Piranha 3DD," the sequel to the tongue-in-cheek "Piranha 3D." The movie promises more of the same: meaning sex, violence, comedy, and people being devoured by man-eating fishies. At least Busey won't have to face off with an angry Meatloaf.

The press release about the casting describes Busey's role as "potential fish bait." Hopefully that doesn't mean he dies very soon...after all, Busey has just the right amount of crazy to add to this already crazy movie.

Anyone who saw his antics in this season of "Celebrity Apprentice" or witnessed his cameos on "Entourage" or "Conan" knows just how wacky and "out there" Busey can be, and just how entertaining that is.

Busey recently completed production on a Lizzie Borden biopic/thriller, and may see more and more roles coming his way due to his increased profile. I suppose, even though he was fired, he has a lot to thank "Celebrity Apprentice" for, doesn't he?

If anything, he showed that he can out-crazy an entire cast of celebrities...even a "real housewife." That's pretty impressive.

"Piranha 3DD" is due out in November.
