FXX Orders 'Man Seeking Woman' Starring Jay Baruchel

A new comedy is coming to FXX.
The channel has ordered a 10-episode season of the series "Man Seeking Woman," which stars Jay Baruchel of "How to Train Your Dragon" and "This Is the End."
Baruchel will play Josh Greenberg, a "naive romantic on a desperate quest for love."
Recently dumped by his longtime girlfriend, Greenberg re-enters the dating scene, which is described as "a nightmarish hellscape of untold horror," something many of us can probably attest to being totally true.
"Despite the agony, Josh continues his search in the hopes of finding someone who will make all the misery worth it."
The show will also star Eric Andre ("Don't Trust the B- in Apartment 23"), Britt Lower ("Unforgettable") and Maya Erskine ("Betas.").
The show is based on a series of short stories ("The Last Girlfriend on Earth, Man Seeking Woman") by writer Simon Rich, who previous wrote for "Saturday Night Live" from 2007 to 2011. He was one of the youngest writers in history on "SNL," and this pickup makes him one of the youngest series creators ever.
