As previously reported, Sony has reversed its decision not to release "The Interview" this week, and will be allowing theaters who wish to screen the movie to do so.
Alamo Drafthouse, a theater chain based in Texas, was the first to break the news as the company's CEO announced on Twitter that certain Alamo Drafthouse locations would be screening the film.
Now it would seem that a number of other independent theaters have hopped on board and are planning to screen the comedy as well. At this time, the major theater chains like AMC, Cinemark and Regal have not made an announcement on whether or not they will reverse their previous decisions to avoid the movie.
So, it would seem that there are locations all across the country willing to take the risk and show the movie on Christmas as originally planned. Here's the full list thus far:
