Full 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Trailer Features Scenes from the Big Battle

"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" is likely to end up being a lot like this newest trailer: half of it will be dramatic talking, and the other half will be straight-up epic fighting.

With the movie's release coming up in just about two months, the final movie in the "Hobbit" trilogy has released its full trailer. In it, we see a quietly threatening Lee Pace as Thranduil, a philosophical Martin Freeman as Bilbo, and lots and lots of action sequences.

The movie will focus mostly on the end of the book, which features the titular battle of five armies. There are graugs, bats, elves and all manners of other creatures getting involved here, and the result is likely to be pretty epic.

There's a lot of personal drama happening here too, with everyone giving Thorin a hard time about the way he's handling things. Then there's that romance with "Lost" alum Evangeline Lilly, and Bilbo's attempt to just deal with everything that's going on.

We also get some nice foreshadowing, with Saruman taking on the responsibility of handling Sauron (we all know how that turns out).

And, of course, what "Lord of the Rings" battle would be complete without a little inspirational speech, perhaps from a certain grey wizard?

"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" hits theaters December 17th. Check out the trailer below:
