Frenemies Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine to Debut New Duet Song on 'The Voice'

Frenemies Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine to Debut New Duet Song on 'The Voice' She says he pees his pants, he says she busts his balls. The banter between Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is one of the more entertaining (if not awkward) elements of NBC's new competition show "The Voice."

Ever since the beginning of the show, when the four judges had to compete to get contestants onto their teams, Adam and Christina's professional relationship has had a touch of "frenemy" to it.

But both Levine and Aguilera have said that it's all in good fun. To prove that they're really good buddies, they will debut a new song that they collaborated on in the short break between the taping of the first two rounds of "The Voice" and the live shows, which just started airing last week.

The song, which is titled "Moves Like Jagger," is a Maroon 5 number that features a guest vocal appearance from Aguilera. A press release from NBC describes the song as "a quintessential Maroon 5 power pop hit with an upbeat, funky tune and catchy lyrics." Sounds about right for both Levine and Christina, doesn't it?

Aguilera expressed her excitement about performing the song on next week's episode: "Collaborating with Adam and Maroon 5 on this great song was a wonderful opportunity and I am looking forward to performing with them live on ‘The Voice,'" said the pop songstress.

So if you want to see Christina and Adam play nice for once, be sure to tune in to next week's episode of "The Voice," which will feature the results from the voting for Team Adam and Team Cee Lo, and is likely to be jam-packed with performances.
