Freddie Prinze Jr. Calls '24' Star Kiefer Sutherland 'Most Unprofessional Dude in the World'

Freddie Prinze Jr. Calls '24' Star Kiefer Sutherland 'Most Unprofessional Dude in the World' Celebrities start beef with other celebrities all the time. But it takes guts to bad-mouth Jack Bauer.

Freddie Prinze Jr., who once had an arc on "24" opposite Kiefer Sutherland, claims that his time on the show was miserable thanks to Sutherland's temper and unprofessional nature.

"I did '24,' it was terrible. I hated every moment of it,” he said. “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that… I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped."

Of course, Prinze Jr. didn't stay away from the industry for too long. After a break of a couple of years following his "24" appearances in 2010, the actor recently appeared on "Bones" and "Witches of East End," along with his continuing voice-over work.

Shortly after Prinze's statements went viral, Sutherland's reps provided a statement refuting Prinze's recollection of events. "Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr. more than 5 years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie‘s grievances," said Sutherland's reps. "Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best."

Meanwhile, an unnamed exec from Fox, which aired "24," jumped to Sutherland's defense, saying he was "nothing but professional during the run of the show and is beloved by cast and crew."

"It’s so out of left field, 5 years later. We wouldn’t have done another '24' if Kiefer were anything like Freddie described," the source added, referring to the recent "24" reboot.
