'Franklin & Bash' Canceled After 4 Seasons

'Franklin & Bash' Canceled After 4 Seasons Despair, fans of legal comedies, "Saved by the Bell" and "Clueless."

"Franklin & Bash" has been canceled.

TNT has officially pulled the plug on the bromantic legal show after four seasons on the air. The show has seen its ratings getting worse with each summer season, and the most recent season premiere pulled in only 1.25 million total viewers.

That's a drop of about 60% just from the previous year's season three premiere, and it gets worse: the season four finale pulled only 1 million.

The show sailed for a bit on the chemistry of its two leads, "Saved by the Bell" alum Mark-Paul Gosselaar and "Clueless" star Breckin Meyer. However, even their bromance wasn't enough to keep the show afloat, and when you compare it to TNT's other major workplace buddy show "Rizzoli & Isles" and their 8-million-plus viewers, it's clear why the network is letting them go.

TNT might need a summer shakeup soon, as their other big summer ratings driver "Falling Skies" will be ending its run with a fifth and final season next year.

RIP, "Franklin & Bash." We barely knew ye, but that's only because we never really watched ye.
