Fox Picks Up 'American Dad' Through 2012-2013 TV Season Seth MacFarlane's cartoon baby will live to air another season.

Just announced, Fox will renew the animated series "American Dad" through the 2012-2013 TV Season.

The comedy celebrated it's 100th episode this season, although it has seen lower-than-awesome ratings.

In an attempt to help slumping viewership, the network shifted their programming to slip the show into the 7:30 pm Sunday slot. Previously, it was airing after "Family Guy".

Fox will spread the 22-episode order over two television seasons meaning the eccentric toon family will be around through Spring of 2013.

We are all up in the midst of cancellation season and "American Dad" made the cut.
