Four Judges Of 'The Voice' To Kick Off Show's First Live Episode With Queen Tribute

Four Judges Of 'The Voice' To Kick Off Show's First Live Episode With Queen Tribute If you’re one of the millions seriously digging NBC’s latest, greatest talent-search “The Voice,” then tonight's episode will be a little like your own personal Rock and Roll Hall of Fame jam.

As a special treat for the fans tuning in to the series’ first-ever live episode tonight, judges Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Christina Aguilera, solo artist and sometime Gnarls Barkley member Cee Lo Green and country crooner Blake Shelton will kick things off with a medley of Queen hits.

The quartet will jam on the British super-group’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions,” the first time the four stars have collaborated since they rocked Green’s Gnarls Barkley smash “Crazy” on the show’s premiere.

NBC Alternative Programming VP Paul Telegdy remarked, “Kicking off the debut of the live episodes of ‘The Voice’ with these high-energy renditions of classic Queen hits will set the tone for our live shows.”

The show, hosted by Carson Daly, has the four artists working hands-on with vocalists chosen largely based on performances heard by the judges seated with their chairs’ high backs to the performers – the idea being, image is largely taken out of the equation.
