Former 'New York Housewives' Cast Member Jill Zarin Speaks Out On Firing

Former 'New York Housewives' Cast Member Jill Zarin Speaks Out On Firing Another of the four fired "Real Housewives Of New York City" cast members has released an official "farewell" statement to the Bravo hit's fans.

Jill Zarin has apparently come easily to grips with her release from the four-year Bravo reality series, along with fellow uptown ladies Cindy Barshop, Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon on Sept. 18. Zarin's official statement thanked Bravo for "four amazing years" filming the series and fan for "literally thousands" of tweet, Facebook messages and e-mails expressing their appreciation for her presence on the show.

Much like Barshop's own statement following being let go, Zarin didn't waste a moment letting fans know exactly what's next. Zarin noted only that the show is "going in a different direction."

"For all the people who have supported me and wished me well, you can see me on a new show that will be announced soon," Zarin said.

"I will also be making personal appearances around the country promoting my new line of shapewear and leggings called SKWEEZ COUTURE. For more information continue to visit jillzarin.com and follow me on Facebook and Twitter."

Barshop's own statement, despite the fact that media dragged Barshop's name through the mud over racial discrimination allegations by a fired employee, also kept a decidedly positive town about the spa owner's future going forward from life on Bravo.

"I view any change as an opportunity to learn and grow," Barshop said in a Sept. 19 statement. "'RHONY' was a great marketing platform for my national spa Completely Bare, and as an ambassador for children's charities I was able to create more awareness. There are additional projects that I am considering. Stay tuned."
