Foo Fighters, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson To Join DNC Finale

Democrats, Assemble!

An Avenger joins an Oscar winner and some of rock's finest Grammy winners in tonight's Democratic National Convention climax.

According to E! Online, tonight's guest list in Charlotte, N.C. is led by "The Avengers" co-star and previous Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson, "Black Swan" Best Actress Oscar-winner Natalie Portman, and a performance by Barack Obama-backing rockers Foo Fighters. Let's just call that where the star power begins.

Those democrats....they know how to trot out the major endorsers. With media still abuzz over former President Bill Clinton's address Wednesday night and First Lady Michelle Obama's on Tuesday night, President Obama will be introduced before his own closing remarks by "Desperate Housewives" alum Eva Longoria. The former Mrs. Tony Parker has called her introductory oratory "the most important speech I've ever made in my life."

Elsewhere tonight, Marc Anthony is scheduled to sing the national anthem, and famous-for-being-famous-and-sexy "star" Kim Kardashian is rumored to attend a post-convetnion party.
