'Flip or Flop' to End Next Year?

Amid the chaos in the lives of Flip or Flop stars Christina and Tarek El Moussa, it looks as if an end to their popular HGTV series might be added to the list of misfortunes. An anonymous source is cited by E! News in a report that says the real-estate reality show will end after its upcoming season.

The future of the series has been in question since last week's revelation that the married stars of the show have separated. That's just the latest in a series of upheavals in the couple's business and personal lives, including allegations of false claims surrounding their real-estate seminars and a domestic disturbance incident that resulted in the removal of several firearms from their home.

The E! source claims that more episodes of the series will be filmed to satisfy an existing contract but that the show's fate is sealed, and it won't continue beyond 2017. Gossip site TMZ also claims that Christina has no interest in reconciling with Tarek.

Neither the El Moussas themselves nor HGTV have made any official announcement regarding the future of Flip or Flop, relegating the stories of the series' cancellation to the realm of pure gossip, at least for now.
