SPOILER: First 'X-Factor' Judge To Be Announced This Week!

The X-Factor is that unknown “something” that adds major value to an object, element or person.
It’s unexplainable, almost phenomenal - and for Simon Cowell it’s the ultimate goal.
His newest project, the FOX singing competition “The X Factor” is sure to have plenty of “it” – starting with the judges.
Not only do the judges need to carry an entertaining quality of their own, they need to be able to pick up on it. Which is why the speculation of the first announced judge makes a lot of sense.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first judge to officially join Cowell is expected to be Island Def Jam chairman Antonio “L.A.” Reid.
Reid is a three-time Grammy-winning song writer, record executive, and producers. Known for his co-founding role with LaFace Records, he is also responsible for helping bring Mariah Carey, Pink, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Kanye West, Avril Lavigne, Toni Braxton, TLC, Usher, Ciara, OutKast and Dido to multi-platinum album sales.
Sounds like the winner of “The X Factor” could turn out to be very successful. And they better be: the winner will receive a $5 million recording contract with Sony Music.
Auditions for the show begin on March 27 in Los Angeles. “The X-Factor” will air this September.
