First Trailer for the New Muppet Movie Hits! (Watch It Here)

There are few things in this world that make me happy as quickly as The Muppets. And while the last few movies have felt more like brand-driven cash grabs (your "Muppets from Space" or "The Muppets' Wizard of Oz"), having Jason Segel at the helm writing the upcoming installment has given me the perhaps unfulfillable hope that this could be the true return to form for everyone's favorite gang of puppets.
And this trailer just keeps on giving me that hope.
Disguising it as a standard-issue Amy Adams rom-com for the first half, only to have Muppets suddenly appear, the new trailer is pretty genius. In fact, don't expect to find the trailer on YouTube by searching under "Muppets" (at least yet anyway); you have to search for "Green With Envy," the fake movie-within-a-movie.
No telling what role "Green With Envy" will play in the final film, if any. I'm too busy smiling to care anyway.
"The Muppets" stars Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, and the whole Muppet gang, and will be released on November 23rd. So, you know, there goes my Thanksgiving weekend. But in the best way.
