The First Trailer for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I' Hits!!
by Shannon KeirnanFinally! A teaser trailer for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I" has been released!
Although to call it a "trailer" might be stretching it a bit. There's no sign of Katniss, for instance, or much else.
In fact, the whole things plays out like a propaganda commercial funded by President Snow (Donald Sutherland)
White, cold, and vaguely threatening, within the short video, residents of Panem are reminded that without the Capital, they will starve, and bleed.
"I know you will stand with me, with us, with all of us, as one. Panem today, Panem tomorrow, Panem forever," he intones.
And wait, is that Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) standing angelically behind him??
The teaser's release follows the release of a series of propaganda-style posters for the hotly anticipated flick.
Get excited - but not too excited. Part one isn't scheduled to hit theaters until November 21, with the second half following a year later.
