Awesome: First Photo of Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln

Day-Lewis is pretty much the method actor to end all method actors, taking years to prepare for each of his roles. That's a big part of the reason why he not only does so well in each role, but also seems to transform himself fully each time he does a new movie.
Sure enough, Day-Lewis has been spotted out in public with his new Lincoln look. Twitter user @UVAMichael saw Day-Lewis in a diner and surreptitiously snapped a photo.
So, below you can see the start of Day-Lewis' transformation into Abraham Lincoln, complete with sideburns, goatee, and slicked-back hair. All that's missing is the top hat.
Pretty accurate, eh? With Spielberg at the helm, Day-Lewis in the lead, and Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones and Joseph Gordon-Levitt with major roles, "Lincoln" should be one heck of a film.
