First Look: Watch the Just-Released Official 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' 3D Trailer

The publicity machine for "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" has been working full time this week, attempting to assure that it will be one of the highest grossing films of the year through sheer media bombardment. Earlier today they told us the film will be hitting the big screen Wednesday, June 29th, two days earlier than expected. Now, they've dropped the full length 3D trailer for the film.

In the latest installment of the "Transformers" series,"the Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers' final battle."

Previously released trailers have focused on characters, or the general hotness of the film's stars, but not this one. The moon landing back story is front and center, as is the typical Michael Bay testosterone-driven extreme action and violence.

While this trailer looks just as full of mindless explosions and crazy stupid robot sh$% as the rest of the "Transformers" movies, watching Chicago get demolished so realistically actually kind of gives me the creeps. It should be absolutely ridiculous in 3D.

If you want to see the trailer on the big screen catch it before "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides." Otherwise, watch it below.
