FIRST LISTEN: 'Glee' Takes On Rebecca Black's 'Friday'

FIRST LISTEN: 'Glee' Takes On Rebecca Black's 'Friday' It's the weekend, and that can mean only one thing: it's time for Rebecca Black's "Friday."

The YouTube sensation, which has earned more hits than music videos from internet giants like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, has already been covered (or spoofed) by just about everyone out there, from obscure internet musicians to the likes of Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert.

Now, "Friday" has made its way onto "Glee." We've known for a while that the song would make it on the show, but we weren't sure who would sing it and what it would sound like. With the release of the full studio version today, now we know.

The song sounds like a fairly accurate cover, but since it's being sung by people who actually know how to sing, it has less autotune. It's not completely clean, though...there's still a little bit of autotune in there for good measure.

As for the performers, it sounds like Mark Salling (Puck), Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Kevin McHale (Artie) got the honor of singing the song. The number will be performed on Tuesday's episode, which centers around the prom. One could safely assume, then, that McKinley High's prom takes place on a Friday.

Give a listen to the song below, and let us know what you think. Bad idea, or a worthy cover?
