'Fear the Walking Dead' Returns, Trailer Teases Daryl's Death
by EG
It's been a long, hot, zombie-less summer, but the great undead drought of 2016 comes to an end this Sunday with the beginning of the second half of Fear The Walking Dead's second season. Both FTWD and its parent series, The Walking Dead, have been silent since the spring, but now the spin-off series will be back to fill the zombie vacuum just as TWD tries to keep its cliffhanger intrigue alive.
Part two of FTWD's season debuts on August 21 on AMC, and the series will pick up where it left off, with the group of survivors trying to stay alive in Mexico. To get viewers up to speed ahead of the new episode, AMC will begin a marathon of all the series' previous episode beginning at 7am on Sunday.
Meanwhile, TWD is trying to keep fans talking about its own season-six-ending cliffhanger. A new trailer shows Dwight riding Daryl's motorcycle, a hint that Daryl might be dead at the beginning of season seven. Could it be that Daryl was Negan's victim? Of course, that's the question that TWD's producers and AMC want you to ask, but if you fall for that trick, you're possibly the most naive TWD fan who's still watching the series.
