'Fear the Walking Dead' Gets Season Premiere Date
by EG
The dead will rise again this summer. AMC has announced the return dates for the zombie thriller spinoff series “Fear The Walking Dead,” the show that follows a small group of survivors at the former United States-Mexico border through the aftermath of the worldwide zombie apocalypse as depicted in the series “The Walking Dead.” The upcoming third season looks to tie up loose ends from the end of season two, while adding new characters and unique, often grotesque, challenges for its surviving cast to overcome.
The third season of “Fear the Walking Dead” debuts Sunday, June 4 at 9 p.m. PT/ET with two back-to-back episodes. The season will consist of eight episodes aired over six weeks until Sunday, July 9, which will mark the show’s mid-season finale and limited hiatus. The show’s return date was originally announced on last night’s episode of “The Talking Dead” show that follows each episode of “Fear the Walking Dead” and its sister production, “The Walking Dead.”
