SPOILERS GALORE: Get the Scoop on the Rest of the 'Glee' Season

SPOILERS GALORE: Get the Scoop on the Rest of the 'Glee' Season Paleyfest is coming to an end tonight, folks, but its penultimate event for the hit show "Glee" gave us more than enough to chew on for days more. Weeks, even! TV Line has the full report.

Needless to say, if you don't want to know anything about what's going down the rest of the season - and beyond - you may want to continue on to another article, but the central charm of "Glee" has never been its plotting anyway.

Gwyneth Gwyneth Gwyneth

First off, and least surprising, is that Gwyneth Paltrow will be back. Often. Showrunner Ryan Murphy says that she's "sort of the muse of the show. I'm friendly with her. And Brad [Falchuk, Executive Producer] has become quite friendly with her. She's also somebody who I write on the weekends and say, 'What do you think about this for an episode even if you're not in it?' She has opinions. She's great."

Paltrow's appearances on the show have been its most-acclaimed attribute this past season. It seems weird to say a show like "Glee" needs more energy, but there is an added electricity in the air when she's there.

Bizarre Love Triangle

Also unsurprising, especially to anyone who saw Tuesday's episode, is that the Finn/Rachel/Quinn love triangle will have a lot of play over the rest of the season. Cory Monteith, who plays Finn, says it's more interesting when Finn and Rachel are apart, but the show has always been exceedingly good at giving their relationship the right level of emotional realism.

As contrasted with a show like "The Office," which has had almost nothing for Jim and Pam to do since they started dating (and especially after they got married), Finn and Rachel's relationship always had a grounded center without becoming dull.

And, sadly, Mercedes will be getting a love interest. "Glee," like most of network television, has done a great job of making it clear that if you're not dating someone (or at least trying!), you're almost worthless, but Mercedes has always been a much-needed antidote for that. Looks like that's out the door.

Now, on the more exciting front...

Rumors and 10 a.m. Drunkenness

The show's creators (Murphy, Falchuk, and Ian Brennan) have long wanted to do an episode centered around an album as opposed to a particular artist, and they just got the rights to Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors."

They recently performed an excellent version of Mac's "Landslide" (admittedly, a hard song to destroy in any major way), so I'm very excited to see what they do with the band's biggest album.

On the next new episode, Sue will gather her "Legion of Doom" together, which will see her team with Terri Schuester (Jessalyn Gilsig), Sandy Ryerson (Stephen Tobolowsky), and Dustin Goolsby (Cheyenne Jackson) to, yes, take down New Directions. And yes, that means the return of Vocal Adrenaline.

Also returning is Kristen Chenoweth to perform a "Glee" original, "It's 10 a.m., I'm Drunk." It's 7:30 a.m. as I type this, and I'm sold.

Prom Night

And last but not least, the Kurt and Blaine saga is hardly over. First, Kurt (and probably Blaine) will wind up with New Directions, but as for the couple themselves? Next up - prom!

"That story is ripped-from-the-headlines," revealed Murphy. "Can you imagine two boys wanting to go to the prom in Ohio?"

The show has never been shy about its socio-political leanings, but it's just as often capable of perfectly nailing tricky issues. Kurt's arc this past season, while not always right in the details (because OF COURSE the guy who bullies him turns out to be gay), has navigated the emotional twists and turns nearly perfectly.

It took me awile, but I've warmed to "Glee" quite a bit, especially for its more absurd aspects and outstanding musical numbers (though I would declare my love for the show forever if they were able to pull off a number without cutting every half-second - Fred Astaire was right, less cutting is more spectacular!). I'm liking everything I'm hearing. Except for that Mercedes business. That's low.
