Ewan McGregor Sings Praises of Spanx

Through Ewan McGregor’s new set of roles on “Fargo,” he’s become a fan of Spanx.

McGregor, 46, plays two brothers — Emmit and Ray Stussy — and underwent quite the transformation for each. For the skinnier brother, Emmit, McGregor squeezed himself into slimming shapewear, reports the Los Angeles Times.

“Spanx are no joke,” he quipped, noting he had an in-house “Spanx technician” who helped him shimmy into the garment each day.

“I couldn’t get that thing over my head if she wasn’t standing there,” he said. “It’s a two-person job. I will say, I rather like them. I had to fly to London or something to do press for ‘Trainspotting’ and I was walking through the airport and there was an actual Spanx store.
