Every Single 'The Simpsons' Episode Will Be Available Online Soon

As one of the longest-running shows still on the air today, "The Simpsons" is a television staple. But the animated comedy is about to find a secondary home online.
Simpsons World is the latest endeavor from cable network FXX, and will soon offer every single episode of "The Simpsons" to date available for online streaming. This announcement comes on the heels of another big one for Simpsons fans: FXX will be hosting a marathon of every "Simpsons" episode to date, in chronological order.
From what we can gather thus far, it looks as though Simpsons World will function similarly to HBO Go, and will probably require a cable subscription to log in. But here's hoping that there will also be a pay-for-service option for the cord-cutters out there.
Simpsons World will also include interactive features, allowing fans to search for episodes by a specific character or clip. Users will also be able to read original "Simpsons" scripts, tweet out their favorite quotes, or test their knowledge of Simpsons trivia.
The bad news is this: If you were hoping for a summer Simpsons streaming binge, you're out of luck. Simpsons World is set to go live in October. However, the FXX marathon of every Simpsons episode will begin on August 21, so if you get the channel, you can spend those remaining warm, sunny days inside, living vicariously through the world of Springfield.
