Episode 'American Idol' Season 10, Episode 25 - Rihanna Performs, 1 of 8 Voted Off Recap Last night brought some great performances in some strange genres. Tonight brings a strange fan holding up a sign saying "Steven is the most beautiful man in the world." Which Steven are you looking at, kid, because I know you don't mean Ghost Rider down there.

Scotty and Lauren kick things off with "American Honey" by Lady Antebellum. Really, just once I'd love to see Scotty go out there and try to sing an R Kelly song or something. I'd also love to see him hold his microphone like a normal person. Amirite?

The stars all get zombified for their little video. James doesn't look much different as a zombie than he does normally. The result here is a music video with Neon Trees' "Animal" that features the Mustang more than any of the Idols.

Casey and Haley are up next with "Moanin,'" and both give lively performances, complete with some old-school scatting. Far more entertaining than a country duet, eh? Haley earns some major points with the judges for that one.

First Results:

Scotty was the first to sit, not too surprising. Lauren was announced safe second, also expected. Casey sits as well, which means Haley is in the danger zone. Really, no surprises there. Haley even managed to get some negative comments out of the judges, who seemed unable to criticize anyone last night.

Rob Reiner shows up, and a quick slideshow of movie posters show his classics: "When Harry Met Sally," "This Is Spinal Tap," and..."The Bucket List." Okay, sure. Reiner sings the lyrics to "Chariots of Fire." Please, Rob. He makes up for it, though, with his jabs at "From Justin to Kelly."

Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson come out next for...another country duet. This must be what hell is like for Northerners.

Jacob, Paul, Stephano and James step up to do "The Sound of Silence" and "Mrs. Robinson," both from "The Graduate." They really don't blend well...certainly not as well as Simon and Garfunkel anyway. It's probably harder with four people, I suppose.

That's over (finally) and it's time for...

Second Results:

Two of the guys need to join Haley, and this will be a lot harder to predict than the last round of results. It ends up being Stephano and Paul in the bottom three, with Jacob and James safe. Stephano is a bit of a surprise here, as his performance last night was much stronger than his usual.

Rihanna performs "California King Bed" next, hiding behind some leftover pieces of fabric. Did anybody vet these lyrics before they invited her on? "A little last night on these sheets"? Gross.

Final Results:

Moment of truth! Haley is the first to sit on the couch, which is a lucky break for her...her performance last night was fairly weak. However, Paul's Bob Seger abomination was worse according to voters, and Paul is the one to go. It looks like Stephano barely made it, perhaps suffering some backlash from being the one to survive the Pia surprise elimination. Will he make it through next week?
