Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Troll Paparazzi In the Best Way Possible (Again!)
by Andy NeuenschwanderWhen you're being hounded by the paparazzi, you have a couple of options. You could yell at them, throw punches, and generally act like Kanye West, or you could pull a Garfield/Stone.
When "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" stars and all-around favorite couple of everyone ever Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were spotted out and about in New York City the other day, they were mobbed by paparazzi as usual.
But rather than duck and cover or lash out at the paps, Garfield and Stone hid their faces another way: By holding up cards endorsing various nonprofits that they think could use your help.
"Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside," reads Stone's card. "And so we thought, lets try this again. We dont need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do."
An arrow on her card pointed to Garfield's card, which listed the URLs for youthmentoring.org, autismspeaks.org and wwo.org. His card finished up with "Here's to the stuff that matters. Have a great day!"
This isn't the first time that the couple has pulled this particular stunt on the paps, as they did the same a number of weeks ago to support the Worldwide Orphans Foundation and Gilda's Club NYC, a cancer support organization.
Obviously Garfield and Stone's hearts are in the right places, so we'll forgive them for the Autism Speaks endorsement, which has come under fire recently for accusations of misappropriation of funds and for having an executive board without a single person with autism.
All in all, we think the cute young couple are on to something. We wonder if they can get Kim and Kanye on board?
