Ellen Joins Sister Wives (VIDEO)

Ellen Joins Sister Wives (VIDEO) The women from “Sister Wives” stopped by Ellen this week to promote their second season, which airs on Sunday, March 13.

DeGeneres told the audience she was glad they were there for a couple reasons.

“Because I have a lot of questions,” she explained. “First of all, why do they need a husband?”

The second reason: they were going to reveal a new housewife, exclusively on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

The Brown family consists of four wives and one husband. According to Ellen, they were going to give the audience a look at the fifth wife who would debut in the first episode that highlights the topic of Kody Brown’s 11-day honeymoon with his fourth wife.

DeGeneres roles the clip and appears as his extra wife. While the other wives share their tormented feelings regarding the honeymoon, DeGeneres acts nonchalant and undisturbed.

"I don't know if I'd say I'm angry," she said. "I mean, I miss -- What's his name? -- Kody, a lot. I do."

In real life, DeGeneres is probably glad she is not as involved – for many (obvious) reasons. One that will be revealed throughout the season: an ongoing “felony bigamy investigation.”

After going public with their lifestyle, the Browns and their 17 children were subjected to a Utah felony bigamy investigation that ultimately caused the family to move to Nevada.
