Ellen DeGeneres Predicts Baby Girl, Oscar Win for Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman Pregnant Ellen Show After her Golden Globe best acting performance in the psycho thriller movie “Black Swan,” Natalie Portman is promoting her new romantic comedy movie with Ashton Kutcher, “No Strings Attached.”

The award-winning actress visited "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and chatted with Ellen about her pregnancy, relationship with "Black Swan" choreographer/fiancé Benjamin Mellepied, and the new film.

Ellen asked Natalie if she fell in love with her fiancé right away. Portman said that her feelings for Benjamin developed as they rehearsed and danced together while filming ‘Black Swan.”

According to Portman, “It was definitely over time as we worked together more - it’s very romantic to dance together. He choreographed the dancing and he’s my partner in the film as well.”

Natalie also confessed to Ellen her cravings for pickles and any food with vinegar and ketchup. Ellen’s production assistant brought Natalie a platter of French fries with kecthup and dill pickles during the show.

Ellen predicted that Natalie is having a baby girl, and presented her with a cute baby girl’s ballet dress and a matching little boy’s ballet outfit in case her prediction is not right. Ellen also predicted an Oscar win for Natalie for her outstanding performance in “Black Swan.”

Natalie told Ellen that she is pleased that her new movie “No String’s Attached” is a comedy. In relation to the movie, Ellen asked if Natalie ever had a friend with benefits, and she asked her back, “have you?"

Ellen claimed that it’s hard to sleep with someone without emotional attachment. Natalie commented that some people are probably doing it just like in the movie, but they don’t make rules. She also added that they don’t tell people that they are doing it.

In “No Strings Attached,” Portman plays the character of a smart and very busy doctor, Emma Franklin, who doesn’t have time for romance and just wants quick sex without commitment. She decides to have sex with her friend Adam, played by Kutcher, but things became complicated when Adam falls in love with Emma. The film opens in theaters this weekend.
