Drew Barrymore's Half-Sister Dead of Apparent Suicide

Tuesday morning, a woman believed to be the paternal half-sister of "He's Just Not That into You" actress Drew Barrymore was found dead in her car.
Jessica Barrymore, 47, was found in her vehicle by a neighbor, who was attempting to leave for work but was blocked in by Barrymore's car. The neighbor, Marta Lopez, walked over to the car and found the woman unresponsive in the driver's seat. There were "dozens of white pills" scattered on the seat next to her. It appears to have been a suicide.
Another neighbor reported having seen the car parked in that spot "around midnight."
"I thought she was sleeping, or waiting for someone," the neighbor said.
The medical examiner's office has confirmed that they do have the body of Jessica Barrymore, with the same birth date as the the half-sister of Drew, though not whether or not she is, in fact, that particular Jessica Barrymore.
Drew released a statement regarding the possible death of her estranged sibling.
"Although I only met her briefly, I wish her and her loved ones as much peace as possible, and I'm so incredibly sorry for their loss."
Jessica Barrymore was born Brahma Jessica Blyth Barrymore. She was the third child of actor John Drew Barrymore and his fourth wife Nina Wayne.
