Did 'Real Housewives' Star Adrienne Maloof Abuse Her Husband?

Custody battles aren’t usually known for being a tea party, but the one brewing between “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof and her ex is turning out to be a real doozy.

Paul Nassif is the plastic surgeon (until recently) married to the tiny reality diva, and last Friday in court, his lawyer made claims that Maloof physically and mentally abused her husband during their marriage.

Reps for Nassif stated that Maloof has pushed Nassif and verbally abused them in front of their children, calling him “stupid,” “dumb,” and “an idiot.”

The head of security for the couple also attests that he has seen Maloof attacking her husband in the back seat of a car. And not in the fun way.

An insider for Maloof claims otherwise, however:

“All Adrienne has ever done is protect herself and Paul has been aggressive and violet numerous times. He is 7 inches taller and weighs 100 pounds more.”

According to Maloof, Nassif has pushed her aggressively to the ground, and pulled her hair in a violent manner. Maloof has also filed claims that Nassif has endangered their children on more than one occasion, including drinking on a sailing trip while in charge of the kids, and failing to evacuate them from the house when the neighbor’s house was burning to the ground. She made claims that he was also physically rough with them.

Shortly after the divorce, Nassif filed for emergency custody of the children-- a move usually used when a parent believes that the other is unfit to be in command of the children alone.

The two are battling for custody of their three boys.
