Did Colton Come Back to 'The Bachelor'?

Bachelor Nation has been on pins and needles after Colton Underwood fled the set at the end of last week's episode. Would he come back after being rejected by Cassie, or would the series simply have to shut down production after losing its star? Read on for spoilers.

Chris Harrison really does say it best: This might be the most dramatic season of The Bachelor yet.

Monday night’s episode wastes no time ping into the drama, picking up with Chris desperately trying to track Colton Underwood down after he jumped the fence following his emotional goodbye with Cassie.

“He just jumped the f—— fence,” Chris says. “I have no idea where he went. We are out in the middle of nowhere.”

The crew begins walking the streets of Portugal, calling after Colton (who has ripped his mic-pack off), to no avail. At one point, Chris admits that if they can’t find him within a half-hour, they will have to call the police.

“He is gone,” he says. “We have no idea where the guy is.”

(Does anyone else think Colton would be a killer hide-and-seek player?)

When they finally do find him, Colton is in no mood to talk.

“I’m done with this s—,” he says.

“You want to be done with the whole thing?” asks Chris.

“Yeah,” Colton replies. “Every time I put myself out there I get f—— rejected.”

After returning to the hotel and getting a night’s sleep, Colton sits down with Chris to figure out what his next step should be.

Colton admits that he didn’t know how much Cassie truly meant to him until she walked away.

“I was falling in love with Tayshia and I was falling in love with Hannah. I fell in love with Cassie,” he says. “Cassie shut my heart off.”

When Colton says he thinks Cassie’s hesitation came from having two other women still involved, Chris finally asks the question we’ve all been thinking: “What if she’s just not that into you?”

“I feel like I have a pretty good gut instinct and I feel like I can read people pretty well,” Colton says. “I think she loves me. I think she’s scared to admit that.”

“I came here for love and I found it,” he adds. “Life without Cassie wouldn’t be complete. Cassie completes me right now.”

Colton says he’s decided to fight for his relationship with Cassie — which means having to say goodbye to both Tayshia and Hannah G.
