Dia Frampton of 'The Voice' Gets Her Own Webseries 'Dia's Next Stage': Watch the Trailer

Dia Frampton of 'The Voice' Gets Her Own Webseries 'Dia's Next Stage': Watch the Trailer Sure, Javier Colon may have been the first place finisher on "The Voice," leaving Dia Frampton to take second. Regardless, it is Frampton and not Colon who has become the face of the first season of "The Voice."

Case in point, Dia is getting her very own NBC webseries to hype the second season of "The Voice," which kicks off Sunday after the Super Bowl. In the series, we'll see Dia doing her thing on her supposed road to fame: taking interviews, deciding on outfits, doing live performances, recording in the studio, etc.

It speaks volumes about the different experiences for Colon and Frampton after the first season of "The Voice" ended. Colon released a single, "Crazy," which currently has about 90,000 views on YouTube since mid-2011. Dia Frampton's music video for "The Broken Ones," on the other hand, has amassed about half a million views just since November. And that, friends, is why Dia has a webseries and Colon doesn't: her fans are dedicated.

It will be interesting to see if season two of "The Voice" brings us another Dia, or even better provides the kind of star that we saw Kelly Clarkson become from her win in the early years of "American Idol."
