'Dexter' Season 7: 'Chuck' Star Yvonne Strahovski Joins Cast

The cast list for "Dexter" season seven continues to build, and those who were fans of NBC's "Chuck" will be happy about the latest addition to Showtime's drama.

Yvonne Strahovski, who starred in "Chuck," has joined "Dexter" for the upcoming season. According to THR, Strahovski will play a Hannah, a "strong, independent woman with a past" who is questioned by Miami Metro in relation to reopened cases.

Which cases are they reopening? Hopefully not any involving Dexter, though that has happened before and Dex has gotten away with it. It all could have something to do with the Russian crime syndicate that will be playing a part in the upcoming season.

As always, when you have a guest star for a multi-episode arc, you have to wonder if said guest star will be a baddie. Judging by the character description, there might be more to Strahovski's character than meets the eye, but whether she's one to kill or not will remain a mystery until the season airs.

Strahovski joins Katia Winter, Jason Gedrick and Ray Stevenson in the cast of new characters for season seven, which will air later this year.
