Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Finally File For Divorce

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Finally File For Divorce Actress Demi Moore and her estranged husband Ashton Kutcher have officially filed for divorce, a year after their separation. The two were married six years.

It was Kutcher who filed on Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences for the split. Kutcher has been dating his “That 70’s Show” co-star Mila Kunis for eight months, and reportedly as the two begin to get more serious, Kunis is putting pressure on Kutcher to become a single man.

Kutcher filed for divorce under the name Christopher Kutcher, and listed separation date and property rights as “to be determined.” He also requested that each party pay their own legal fees.

Moore was reportedly pleased that Kutcher finally filed, but is holding out for a big settlement before making things final.

The two split in November of last year. Moore’s statement noted, "It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton.”

She added, "As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation."

Kutcher, meanwhile, tweeted, "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and light."

The two separated shortly after rumors that Kutcher had fooled around with someone other than his wife in San Diego.

This was the third marriage for Moore, and the first for Kutcher.
