Demi Lovato‘s not sorry for keeping her recovery to herself.

The 26-year-old singer let her Lovatics know late Friday night that she’s doing well, months after her overdose, while cautioning her followers to not believe what they read about her these days.

“I love my fans, and hate tabloids,” Lovato wrote in the start of her Twitter rant. “Don’t believe what you read. People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening.”

The singer, who completed a 90-day rehab stint following the summer incident and has since re-emerged several times on Instagram, said that she’ll eventually reveal what happened that day but isn’t ready to share just yet.

“Someday I’ll tell the world what exactly happened, why it happened and what my life is like today,” she said. “But until I’m ready to share that with people please stop prying and making up sh-t that you know nothing about. I still need space and time to heal.”

Although she wouldn’t mention a specific rumor or story that has been written about her, a situation that made for tabloid fodder after the overdose was the role of her friend and backup dancer Dani Vitale, who was initially blamed for Lovato’s overdose.
