Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell Sound Off About Their New Celebrity Neighbor
by Shannon Keirnan
Goofy but adorable Dax Shepard took a few minutes out of promoting his new movie, "Hit and Run," to discuss his feelings about new neighbor, teen crooner Justin Bieber.
Apparently the spiky-hair pop star, who recently rented the house behind Shepard and sloth-loving girlfriend Kristen Bell, has changed the “dynamic” of the neighborhood.
“The music and the parties and the paparazzi, I mean, it’s like living in Lebanon now,” Shepard complained.
Bell diplomatically added, “In his defense, I will say we don’t know the exact house the music is coming from. We just know since he moved in, the music has been blaring.”
Bieber’s publicity as of late has not been flattering. Rumors are circulating about his mistreatment of super-cutie good girl Selena Gomez, and last weekend the teen was in the spotlight for disturbing an Air New Zealand flight with rowdy behavior and loud repetition of words he is, frankly, too young to be using. The star settled down after being scolded by a mother of two for being “inappropriate.”
Let’s not forget that this follows on the heels of the Mariah Yeater Bieber Baby scandal. For being just a wee little thing, the young singer is making quite a splash in the tabloids, and seems eager to shed his baby-faced nice boy image.
So it comes as no surprise that the earring-loving Bieber runs on the inconsiderate side, even to Shepard and Bell, who seem like the kind of neighbors you want to invite over for barbeque and swap plant bulbs with, not deprive of sleep.
Ok. Bieber’s young. He’s rich. He’s probably going through some kind of phase or something. Hormones, maybe. Either way, I say let the kid throw some parties and stay up past his bedtime! But maybe Bieber should consider a change of location, and something a little more suited to loud music and paparazzi.
I hear the house next to Lindsey Lohan is wide open.
