David Duchovny and Tea Leoni Divorce

David Duchovny and Tea Leoni Divorce It's over for good!

David Duchovny and Tea Leoni have finalized their divorce. Didn't know they were separating? Don't feel bad - the split was entirely under wraps.

The "California" actor, 54, filed secretly for divorce from his wife back in June, citing "irretrievable breakdown of the relationship." The two reportedly settled the terms of the split themselves, and the negotiations were amicable.

The finalization of the divorce has come as a surprise to most. A discrete and friendly Hollywood divorce? Unheard of!

Duchovny has two children with Leoni, 48, and the two will share legal custody of Kyd Miller, 12, and Madelaine West, 15. Leoni will have primary physical custody of the two. Though split, the four all still reside in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Duchovny will also pay $40,000 a month in spousal support, and over $8,000 in child support, among other expenses for the children, including education and summer camps. Yowza! Apparently those seven seasons of playing a womanizer on "Californication" will allow him to keep his family in the style to which they have become accustomed!

Duchovny and the "Deep Impact" actress wed in 1997 after only eight weeks of dating, and split in 2008. During their time apart, Duchovny was treated for sex addiction. The two reconciled, but split again in 2011 - this marks the quiet end of a long and rocky road.
