David Arquette Tells Oprah He Had Booze at Four and Drugs at Eight

David Arquette sat down and taped an interview with Oprah Winfrey that will air on Thursday. Some pretty sad and amazing details have leaked from audience members who were present for the taping. The most shocking – Arquette had his first beer when he was just four years old!

Can you imagine drinking a beer as being one of your earliest memories? Tragic. And Arquette got the beer and drank it while sitting with his dad. He said it began his lifestyle of hard partying.

According to the Huffington Post, Arquette was a regular drinker from a very early age.

"I seriously started drinking probably when I was about twelve. Kids are doing a lot of stuff very early. I stole pot from my dad when I was eight years old."

Are all kids doing stuff that early? I certainly hope not! Did Courteney Cox tolerate this behavior as long as she could or did Arquette keep it a bit under control while they were married?

It doesn’t seem like she is the party type very much, so she might have kept a tight leash on him so his party didn’t get out of control, especially in front of their young daughter.

Arquette has now been through rehab and is working at getting and staying sober. He says it will be a challenge for him, just because the party lifestyle started so early and was engrained in to him. Do you think Cox will give him another chance if he stays sober?
