'Glee' Star Darren Criss Cast Opposite Kristen Wiig in 'Imogene'

'Glee' Star Darren Criss Cast Opposite Kristen Wiig in 'Imogene' Darren Criss is getting ready to make the jump to the big screen! The "Glee" star has been cast in a major role in Kristen Wiig's upcoming movie "Imogene," about a woman who moves back home to New Jersey and has to deal with her mother (played by Annette Bening).

Here's the juicy part: Criss, who is younger than Wiig by a little less than 15 years, will be starring opposite her as a love interest.

Criss, who plays Blaine on "Glee," was promoted to a series regular for the upcoming season after becoming a fan favorite during season two, and is rumored to be taking over for Daniel Radcliffe in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" on Broadway for a short run next year.

Criss should be a good fit for dramedy "Imogene," as he has proven both his dramatic and comedic chops in his run on "Glee."
