'Glee' Star Darren Criss Cast Opposite Kristen Wiig in 'Imogene'

Darren Criss is getting ready to make the jump to the big screen! The "Glee" star has been cast in a major role in Kristen Wiig's upcoming movie "Imogene," about a woman who moves back home to New Jersey and has to deal with her mother (played by Annette Bening).

Here's the juicy part: Criss, who is younger than Wiig by a little less than 15 years, will be starring opposite her as a love interest.

Criss, who plays Blaine on "Glee," was promoted to a series regular for the upcoming season after becoming a fan favorite during season two, and is rumored to be taking over for Daniel Radcliffe in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" on Broadway for a short run next year.

Criss should be a good fit for dramedy "Imogene," as he has proven both his dramatic and comedic chops in his run on "Glee."
