'Dads' Season 1, Episode 7: 'Foul Play' Recap

Camilla, however, enjoyed herself. She tells Warner and Eli that she is considering auditioning for a play. She needs a creative outlet.
Veronica and Eli end up working late, eating dinner. He points out that it is like a date, though she reminds him he's paying her to be there. David comes in, chased in by Edna. David confesses he brought bed bugs into the house. He brings his sleeping bag to the office to stay.
Warner finds him at his desk in the morning, brushing his teeth and putting pants on. Camilla calls her husband - she got the lead in a play! She tells him to thank Eli for his encouragement. Warner slaps Eli.
At home, Camilla wants Warner to run lines with her. He laughs at the bad writing. Crawford offers to help her run lines, so Warner can get dinner going and care for the children.
And in the office, David is hanging his laundry, including briefs, to dry on a line down the center.
At Camilla's play, the group finds out that the performance for the night is cancelled due to the lead being in a car accident. Warner is thrilled, but Camilla grabs Crawford - he knows all the lines.
Crawford and Camilla perform... they reach the scene where they must make out passionately. Warner didn't realize what sort of play this was, as Crawford rips open Camilla's blouse.
At the after party at his house, he is in shock. He refuses to kiss Camilla. He tells her she has to stop acting if it involves kissing, which she says isn't real. To prove his point, Warner passionately kisses Edna.
Warner sleeps at the office, with David and Eli. He wonders if he should apologize. Eli tells him no. The guys decide that their fathers are ruining their lives.
Warner goes home for his retainer. Camilla reminds him that if he had rehearsed with her, he would have been the one kissing her. He says he liked their old system - she notes that's the one where she does everything and he does nothing. They fight. She asks why they're together if he can't support her. After he says "tax purposes," he is sent back to the office.
David runs down the rules of living at the office. Veronica shows up with her sleeping bag, since her parents are staying in her one-room apartment. Crawford comes to find out what is bugging Warner. He tells him he has to be more attentive as a husband. He reminds Warner that his mother left because Crawford stood in the way of his dreams.
Warner makes up with Camilla. Eli gets to move back upstairs to his apartment, as the bed bugs are gone.
