Cryptic Tweets Spark Cheating Rumors Between Ashton and Demi

The problem with being on a TV show that nearly 30 million people watched in its premiere week is that people tend to pay a little more attention to you. Hence, the growing rumors that Ashton Kutcher may have cheated on Demi Moore, and that the couple might be splitting.

There were two specific events that started the buzz: one was that Demi and Ashton spent their sixth wedding anniversary apart, and the other (fittingly, considering their online activity) was a tweet.

"When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger," tweeted Demi just a few days ago.

That's a quote from the Greek philosopher Epictetus, and it got people wondering. Of course it could refer to Ashton doing something bad, but it's equally likely that it could refer to Demi getting pissed at someone who cut her off in traffic.

For his part, Ashton has put out his own slightly cryptic tweet about the situation.

Today he tweeted a link to a song he was listening to on Spotify: "Don't Believe the Hype" by Public Enemy. Sounds like he might be sending a message, eh? Officially, though, reps for the couple haven't commented on said "hype."
