Courtney Stodden Get Kicks Out of 'Couples Therapy'
by Shannon KeirnanArguably the biggest fame-whore on television today, Courtney Stodden has been kicked off of her latest attempt to jostle her way into the public’s eye. Stodden and her much-older and equally stomach-turning husband, Doug Hutchinson, were booted off of “Couples Therapy” for Stodden’s refusal to stick to a dress code.
Dr. Jenn Berman told Stodden on multiple occasions that her barely-there outfits were distracting houseguests... other than her husband.
Berman finally implemented a dress code for the child bride, but Stodden refused to stick to it, even showing up in a nun’s costume as protest. Because being forced to wear jeans and a t-shirt is totally the same concept.
“I’m not willing to change for the household rules,” Stodden tells Berman. “Like you know, I am an activist for bullying, and I feel like in this house there’s been a lot of bullying.”
An activist... for bullying...
When Berman confronts her about her inability to cover up her lady-bits, Stodden defends that you can’t see vagina or nipple. So, that… makes it okay, right?
Berman points out that her refusal to adhere to the house rules are a “f*ck you” to herself and the rest of the guests.
Thank you Daddy Doug for stepping in and offering his classy lady an out. “What about Erin Brockovitch?” He reminds helpfully.
“I know Erin. What about her?” Berman shoots back.
Stodden sticks to her guns (ahem), insisting that she is proud and courageous and won’t change. The forced angelic look on her face as she confronts Berman after trying to evoke a comparison with Erin Brockovitch is stomach turning.
“I guess you could call me the 21st century Erin Brockovitch,” she crows in the video below. Remember, Stodden was 5 when the classic flick about Brockovitch campaigning for cancer victims hit the theaters. Until Stodden starts using her bare bosom to feed the hungry or cure blindness (rather than inflict it), she should probably be more careful about who she tries to align herself with.
Stodden and Hutchinson were asked to leave the house, and the cheer was hear round the world.
