Countdown to the Finale: Oprah's Farewell Spectacular - Part 2

Countdown to the Finale: Oprah's Farewell Spectacular - Part 2 Today's portion of the Oprah Farewell Spectacular included more of the same; A-list celebs, powerful vocals and charitable contributions made by people inspired by Ms. Winfrey.

Many of Oprah's special guests were seated throughout the audience, just waiting for their turn to surprise the star. Will Smith and his fine wife Jada Pinkett Smith took turns on stage as the MC of part 2.

Possibly the highlight of the hour was Jerry Seinfeld's brief standup, providing a little comic relief to offset the more serious, emotional moments.

Simon Cowell joined us for just a moment to introduce Oprah's protégés; Rosie O'Donnell, Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz. I could have done without this collaboration.

Maria Shriver looked radiant onstage and handled herself with class. As we mentioned last week, the estranged wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger was having dinner with Oprah the night before her husband's infidelities became public knowledge.

In Stedman's sweet tribute to Oprah he shared, "It really does amaze me that I get to be around a woman who changes people's lives everyday and who also takes her own lunch to work!"

The godmother of soul Miss Aretha Franklin sang an interesting rendition of "Amazing Grace" and Usher brought it home with "Oh, Happy Day."

The message taken from the entire farewell program is pay it forward. Oprah has so obviously inspired so many people to be educators, good parents, better friends and contributors to society.

Tomorrow's finale will draw a massive audience as the world bids farewell to a legend and icon in the daytime TV world. Sources say that there will be no special guests tomorrow, just Oprah and her audience sharing one final chat!
