'Cougar Town' Sets Return Date, Cast Sings Catchy Song

It was a sad day for fans of underrated but also not very popular sitcoms when "Cougar Town" went off the air. Call it a case of bad marketing if you will (creator and former showrunner Bill Lawrence slapped the name on it when he was pitching it, and regretted it ever since), but either way, it bit the bullet.

Thankfully, TBS picked up the slack and "Cougar Town" has a new home on TBS, where the show's viewership is seen as a pretty healthy one. All that was missing was a premiere date.

Until now.

"Cougar Town" will be making its return on Tuesday, January 8, and to commemorate the occasion, the cast got together to shoot a very catchy musical promo. In the promo, the gang sings a jaunty number called "We're Back," which is exactly what you think it's about.

The video is full of in-jokes about the show, including an increasingly large glass of wine for Courtney Cox, appearances from "Scrubs" stars Neil Flynn and Sarah Chalke, and even a cameo from Danny Pudi as Abed, who as we learned on "Community" is a huge fan of "Cougar Town."
