Conservative 'Sesame Street...' Thank You, Jon Stewart... Leave it to Jon Stewart and “The Daily Show” to make this hilarious on purpose.

Remember all the backlash about Mitt Romney’s comments about slashing funding to PBS and therefore taking away the mouthpiece for Big Bird’s liberal agenda, like the terrible impressions he’s making on our children in teaching them such things as sharing, caring, and spelling?

Of course you do, or you just haven’t seen the Big Bird for Obama campaign video yet.

Well Stewart delightfully addresses the issue, wondering how PBS might be able to make “Sesame Street” more appealing to conservatives.

Puppets George Snuffleupagus and his counterpart have lots of suggestions of changes that can be made:

“First, there’s the name: Sesame Street.”

“Got an awful Middle Eastern connotation to it.”

What should we call it? That's easy!

“Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Patriot Streeeeet…? Through fiscal responsibility, that’s how!”

Or how about sponsors? No longer letters and numbers bringing in the cash, unless you mean the number Miller Beer…

But what about the real family values at stake here? It’s time to finally meet Mrs. Bert and Mrs. Ernie, and clear up all those vicious rumors.

And the lessons we’re teaching the children? No longer can “Sesame Street” promote sharing, and encourage children to help feed the hungry or assist those that have less than themselves. Grover explains that in a hilarious voice-over to a special young lady who clearly has her priorities in the wrong place when she suggests giving someone hungry her food.

“You’re taking away their motivation to earn their food for themselves… Did you not read that copy of Atlas Shrugged I loaned you?”

Amazing.
