'Community' Sneak Peek: Watch Clips from the 'Law & Order' Spoof Episode

It would be difficult at this point to count the many homages (or spoofs, if you prefer) that "Community" has paid to various pop culture phenomena. Whether it's a genre, such as war documentaries or westerns, or a specific movie or show, such as "Pulp Fiction," "Glee" or even "My Dinner with Andre," the NBC sitcom has covered it.

This week will be another homage episode, but it will be one that references a show on its own network. "Community" will be doing "Law & Order" this week.

The plot follows an investigation after a science project goes wrong. Is it sabotage? Maybe. Will Jeff do some lawyering? Yes. Will Troy and Abed dress up as detectives and try to do some investigative work? You bet they will.

This homage follows other episodes in this third season that have lampooned "Glee" and taken on the style and tone of a Ken Burns war documentary. "Community" is coming off of what may have been its most ambitious episode yet, having featured a good deal of special effects and intricate character interactions.
