'Community' Preview Video: Is This Musical Christmas Episode Attacking 'Glee?'

'Community' Preview Video: Is This Musical Christmas Episode Attacking 'Glee?' "Community" is a show in peril: this week's Christmas episode is the last one before the show goes on a hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time. So, what better time to make fun of "Glee?"

It looks like the irreverent show, which references pop culture more often than Alec Baldwin plays Words With Friends, might be attacking "Glee" in this week's ep. In a preview clip, Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) talk about how they hate their school's glee club, and then break into a musical number.

It would be little surprise to see the often-meta "Community" decide to target "Glee" on the same week they do a musical episode. Plus, the show has cleverly mocked "Glee" at least twice before: once in their first paintball episode "Modern Warfare" (Jeff yells at the Greendale glee club to "write some original songs") and again in "Paradigms of Human Memory" (the gang recalls a nonexistent episode in which they sing nonsense to each other while other cast members sway in the background).

Consider it a commentary on how one show, which only got better through its second season, could be outperformed nearly ten to one by a show that got notoriously worse. Also, consider it to be a convenient usage of Donald Glover's rap skills!
