Cissy Houston: Reality Show Is For Bobbi Kristina's Career

Cissy Houston: Reality Show Is For Bobbi Kristina's Career There are far, far better ways to help a child succeed. There are ways that won't put a grieving family under a microscope.

Cissy Houston, mother of late six-time Grammy winner Whitney Houston, is reportedly all for the green-lit Lifetime reality series documenting Whitney's family's grieving process. According to TMZ, Cissy believes that the show could be just the thing to launch the singing-career prospects of Bobbi Kristina, Whitney's only daughter by ex-husband Bobby Brown.

Brokering the show has been a pet project of Whitney's former sister-in-law and manager, Pat, for several years. The 10-episode series will feature contracted involvement from Cissy, Pat, Bobbi Kristina and Whitney's brother Gary. Cissy reportedly believes that by "keeping the family as one," the series will "help with the healing process."

She also believes that the extended Houston family stands to profit, TMZ reports. Cissy also reportedly sees a passion for music in Bobbi Kristina that harkens to her mother's.

Apparently, nobody has shown Cissy an episode of VH1's "Hogan Knows Best" and explained that Hulk Hogan launched that hot mess to launch his daughter's singing career. In the end, his teenage son's horrible driving left a friend in a vegetated state, while Hogan ended up divorced and dating a woman around his daughter's age.

What's more, isn't this funny timing to be the first anybody hears of Bobbi Kristina HAVING a prospective "singing career?" One wonders if multiple haven't gotten into a grieving mother's ears and sold her a bill of goods. There are just bad feelings to be had about how this will go the whole way around.
