Chrissy Teigen Posts Nude Photo to Instagram, Declares 'The Nipple Will Be Back'

Chrissy Teigen is freeing the nipple, and she isn't going to let a little thing like Instagram stop her.

The supermodel, "Lip Sync Battle" commentator and wife to Oscar-winning singer John Legend posted a topless photo to Instagram, giving her fans a sneak peek of her upcoming shoot with W Magazine. In the photo, Teigen poses on a chair in tall white boots and not much else.

"Honored to be in the company of such gorgeous women," Teigen wrote of her experience with the magazine while thanking everyone involved in the shoot.

Of course, Instagram is notoriously tough on nude photos and deleted the pic shortly after. That led Teigen to tweet, "the nipple has been temporarily silenced but she will be back, oh yes, she will be back."

That message seems to support the #FreeTheNipple movement, which calls out the double standard that sites like Instagram have against women: men are allowed to post shirtless photos that show their nipples, while women are not.

Other celebrities that have called out Instagram in the past for their nipple-shaming ways include Rihanna and Chelsea Handler, both of whom temporarily (or perhaps permanently) quit the photo-sharing site in protest of the policy.
