Chrissy Teigen Has Scary Flight Experience
by EG
Lip Sync Battle host Chrissy Teigen had a scary and puzzling experience on a flight to Tokyo on Tuesday night. All is well now, but Teigen never made it to Tokyo.
Via the Los Angeles Times.
A Tokyo-bound flight turned around and flew back to LAX after an apparent mix-up between a passenger and the flight crew, authorities said.
They keep saying the person had a United ticket. We are on ANA. So basically the boarding pass scanner is just a beedoop machine that makes beedoop noises that register to nowhere

All Nippon Airways flight 175 arrived back in Los Angeles around 7:30 p.m. It wasn't clear why the plane turned around, said Lt. Adonis Cutchlow of the Los Angeles Airport Police.
Police were interviewing all the people seated around the mystery person once we got off the plane. Why would they do this! I MUST KNOW MORE

There was no criminal or illegal activity on the plane, Cutchlow said. He referred further questions to All Nippon Airways, the airline operating the flight.
"All we know is that it was turned around," Cutchlow said.
Teigen said the passenger in question reportedly boarded the flight with a ticket from a different airline, though it's not clear how the flight crew learned that or why it took four hours to discover the error.
Teigen writes that police interviewed some of the passengers on the plane, but Cutchlow said that no police officers responded to the plane.
